Regional Manager
Job brief
We are looking for an individual to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, financial tasks, monitoring and supervision function.
Regional Manager Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. A successful Regional Manager should be familiar with all accounting procedures, have a flair for numbers and a working knowledge in monitoring and supervision
Ultimately, a successful Regional Manager will ensure that the regional Societies daily accounting functions and member compliance with Bank of Ghana regulation’s run accurately and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the Regional Office
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Aid and support to members in the region
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Monthly visits to members to ensure compliance
- Conduct monitoring and supervision function
Requirements
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
- A minimum of HND
Location: Upper West Region
Salary: Negotiable
